Day 1

T aroudant is the ancient capital city of
the Sous and once capital city of the
Saadian
sultans before Marrakech. Very
picturesque city protected by splendid
ochre ramparts. Also known

TAROUDANT – OUARZAZATE Day 2
The road between Taroudant and
Ouarzazate will enable you to discover a
more hidden Morocco with villages that
seem to live out of time. Across plains
and valleys of the Sous with its Argan
trees, wild desert trees of the western
south that don’t exist anywhere else in
the world (women discovered its
therapeutic secrets and virtues
thousands of years ago).

The
route includes:
- Talouine, homeland of the saffron.
- Tazenakhat, kingdom of the carpet
- Ouarzazate (on a high plateau at
1160m), with an
exceptional climate. At the confluence
of the valley
of the Drâa and the Dadès rivers.

OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH Day 3

Stopover in Ait Ben-Haddou, Unesco
protected village.
Ait Ben-Haddou is a beautiful world
heritage Ksar, flooded in a peaceful and
calm atmosphere. Sunsets are nothing
short of spectacular. The village is
renowned and valued among film makers
worldwide and was used as a location for
films such as “Lawrence of Arabia”.
Going through Tamdaght (typical
village) towards the valley, the
track of Ounila and the mountains of the
High-Atlas.
Breathtaking scenery, ever changing and
fascinating colours.
MARRAKECH - (VISITE GUIDEE) Day 4
Visit of Marrakech City that gave Morocco its name, rich
with cultural and economic exchanges. Choices of visits include:
- the Ménara (small 19th century pavilion where
viziers and sultans
used to retire for holiday). Various possible
evening shows
(outdoor light and special effects, dancers,
acrobats, comedians
and riders)

- Koutoubia which for 8 centuries has dominated
Marrakech from the top of its 77 m,
great symbol of the city.
- the Bahia Palace and its Mooresque garden, the
El Badi palace.
- Saadians tombs (splendid 11th century
necropolis).

- Madrasa Ben Youssef, one of the most
interesting monuments in the city.
- the most
famous Souks in Morocco.
